When most people hear about Lebua Bangkok, the first thing that comes to mind is the famous rooftop bar featured in The Hangover Part II. The hotel is well known for its spectacular sky-high restaurants and bars with breathtaking views over Bangkok.
I had visited the restaurants and bars a few times before, so I already knew about the incredible views and the vibrant atmosphere. However, during this trip I had the chance to actually stay at the hotel with my family—and I was genuinely surprised by how family-friendly the experience was.

Our Stay at Lebua
We stayed at the Tower club at Lebua, a two-bedroom suite with private balconies and exclusive access to the Tower Club Lounge. The experience begins already in the lobby. The space feels calm and elegant, with fresh floral scents in the air, beautiful sofas, and a grand piano that adds to the sophisticated atmosphere. From there we went directly upstairs to our suite.
The suite was exactly what a family needs—very spacious, elegant, and comfortable. It included a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful luxury furnishings throughout the space, along with fresh flowers that added a lovely touch.
When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with fresh coconut water, a plate of exotic Thai fruits, sweets, and a beautiful welcome cake featuring an image of The Lebua Tower. It was such a thoughtful and warm introduction to our stay.

The Master bedroom featured a very comfortable king bed and an adorable surprise—our names embroidered on the pillowcases, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.
The private balcony offered incredible panoramic views over Bangkok’s skyline.
The Bathroom was a luxurious retreat, thoughtfully designed with a separate shower area and a separate bathtub area for ultimate relaxation. It was stocked with high-end essential toiletries, soft and fluffy oversized towels, and elegant finishes throughout, creating a spacious and indulgent space that perfectly complemented the suite’s luxury.

The Living room was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, featuring a large and very comfortable sofa perfect for relaxing while enjoying the stunning panoramic city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Inside, a dining table provided a lovely spot for meals, while fresh flowers and elegant luxury décor added a sophisticated touch throughout the room. A dedicated working desk made it convenient for anyone needing a comfortable space to work or study during the stay.

The Kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and all the necessary utensils and cookware, making it easy to prepare anything from a quick snack to a full family meal. With its modern appliances, ample counter space, and elegant design, it was both practical and stylish—perfectly convenient for families traveling together.

The Second bedroom was thoughtfully designed with a comfortable sofa bed, spacious built-in cabinets for ample storage, and its own private bathroom. The space combined luxury and functionality, making it perfect for families who need both comfort and convenience during their stay.
Tower Club Lounge
One of the highlights of staying here is access to the Tower Club Lounge, located on the 52nd floor. The lounge is exclusive for Tower Club suite guests and is open daily from 6 AM to 6 PM.
We enjoyed an amazing afternoon tea, with a selection of canapés, cakes, desserts, teas, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The view from the lounge is simply incredible—you can visit throughout the day and enjoy the skyline of Bangkok from above.

Pool and Fitness
The Swimming pool area is large and relaxing, with comfortable lounge chairs and a great atmosphere. It’s also connected to Cafe Mozu, where you can order fresh juices and food while enjoying time by the pool.
Right next to the pool is The Fitness center, which is very well equipped and offers fresh towels and lemon water. The gym also overlooks the pool, making it a pleasant place to work out while traveling.

Breakfast at Café Mozu
Breakfast is served daily at Café Mozu, and the selection is truly impressive. There are pastries, bakery items, Asian dishes, gluten-free options, fresh juices, and more. Families will find plenty of choices for children, including freshly made pancakes, yogurt, and fruits.
One of my personal highlights was the papaya salad, freshly prepared by a Thai chef—absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor.

Travel Made Easy
The hotel also offers a complimentary tuk-tuk service that can drop guests off at the nearby pier or BTS station, making it even easier to explore Bangkok.

Final Thoughts
Our stay at Lebua was truly wonderful. From the spacious suites to the warm service, incredible views, and excellent dining options, everything made for a memorable experience.
What surprised me the most was how perfect the hotel is for families, despite its reputation for nightlife and rooftop bars.
Whether you’re traveling as a couple, solo traveler, group of friends, or family, this hotel offers something special for everyone.
For us, it was an unforgettable stay—and one we would absolutely recommend when visiting Bangkok.
